WHY OUR WOOD IS PERFECT FOR PIZZA
Our Perfect Pizza Wood comes in neat fire sticks, measuring 4.5 inches long and 1-2 inches wide, conveniently packaged in a variety of options.
With a moistures level of 8-12% and certified heat treatment, this clean hardwood is exceptionally long burning.
Perfect for any pizza or wood-fired oven designed to burn hot and clean, you’ll need just two to three handfuls to cook a few pizzas. For a pizza night with family, plan on about a pound of wood, increasing as needed for larger gatherings.
Sourced from Mexico, our wood is harvested by local Ejidos and citizens' cooperatives under the supervision of Semarnap, the Mexican Department of the Environment. We primarily use dead-standing white Canyon Oak trees from the high Sierras of northern Mexico. Our commitment to fair trade wages and adherence to international regulations ensures we support both the forests and the communities we partner with.
